Unable to create an S2I build with unauthorized error
Issue
- When an S2I build is created, the following image pull error is observed.
pull image still failed due to error: Error initializing source docker://image-registry.openshift-image-registry.svc:5000....unauthorized: Please login to the Red Hat Registry using your Customer Portal credentials. Further instructions can be found here

- Red Hat Openshift Container Platform 4.x [RHOCP]
