Why JBoss is unable to process WebListener annotation class inside the static module using jandex?

Issue

While implementing context listener with @WebListener annotation. If the class is kept in the WAR, then it is working fine. But if the class is kept in static module, then it doesn't work. Generated the jandex.idx file and configured the annotations attribute in jboss-deployment-structure.xml file.
