Issue

  • LUN changed operating parameters being logged:

    [storvsc] Sense Key : Unit Attention
[storvsc] Add. Sense: Changed operating definition
Warning! Received an indication that the operating parameters on this target have changed. The Linux SCSI layer does not automatically adjust these parameters.

  • Server is logging LUN change messages.

Environment

  • RHEL Guest on Microsoft Hyper V (MS HCI HyperV) with virtual disks
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, 7, 8.0-8.8, 9.0-9.2
    • storvsc driver
