Issues while performing `git clone` operation for OpenShift applications

Issue

We have created an OpenShift application and we get below error while cloning the git repository using git clone command :

We were unable to clone your application's git repo - The directory you are cloning into already exists.

or

Cloning into 'E:\abc\test\pqr\testapp'...
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.
