Twiddle command fails saying "event not found"

Issue

  • We're trying to run a twiddle command like so:
    ./twiddle.sh -u admin -p a!dmin -s jnp://localhost:1099 invoke "jboss.jca:name=yourdatasourcename,service=ManagedConnectionPool" flush

    But this fails with the following output:

    bash: !dmin": event not found

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • twiddle
