Issue

  • When mounting ephemeral volumes the following error occurs:

    Warning  FailedCreate  [...] replicaset-controller  Error creating: pods "<POD_NAME>" is forbidden: unable to validate against any security context constraint: [...]

  • How to use ephemeral volumes in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP)?

  • What security context constraints (SCC) do we need to create?
  • Using the "privileged-scc" works but it is not an option as it provides to much privileges.
  • That happens only using oc cli and e.g. pipelines
