Snapshots for subpackages are not listed in JBoss BRMS 5.3.1

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Business Rules Management System (BRMS) 5.3.1

Issue

We are unable to view snapshots for subpackages in JBoss BRMS (Guvnor). However, it is listed properly if using WebDAV. For instance, if created a package called d, it is listed properly in Snapshot tab. After that, a subpackage is created inside d (i.e. d.e) and a snapshot is generated. Going to Snapshot tab again, we are unable to see the created snapshot listed, but in JBDS we can see it if using WebDAV.

Resolution

As a workaround, you should rename the package (i.e. from d to dd), so that a new package named dd will be created and the old one will remain with the original name (i.e. d) and will keep the subpackages.

Root Cause

The BUG-1056543 have been raised to fix this issue.
