Is there a way to reclaim unused blocks on Equallogic ISCSI volumes with RHEV?
Issue
Is there any way (i.e. fstrim) to have RHEVM update ISCSI SAN volumes on an Equallogic 4000 array that blocks formerly used are now free. We did some live migrations off some storage that was getting full. RHEVM shows the proper usage. However, the SAN array still shows all the freed blocks as used. Is there a tool like fstrim or the like to report the free blocks back to the array?
