The cupsd process has high resource usage in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Issue
- The
cupsdprocess resource usage increases over time. We need to restart the service to get it back to normal. - CUPS consumes memory and requires restarts regularly.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.2 & 5.11
- cups-1.4.2-39 to cups-1.4.2-48 & cups-1.3.7
