Issue

  • The "image file name" is changed as follows, when the guest OS(RHEL)  is migrated from VMware to KVM  by using the "virt-v2v" command.

  • [Before migration (on VMware)]   Ex:Image file name: rhel55

  • [After migration (on KVM)] Image file name: rhel55_rhel55

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version Number:  RHEL6 update  2
  • Architecture:  x86_64
  • Kernel Version: 2.6.32-220.el6
  • Related Package Version: virt-v2v-0.8.3-5.el6.x86_64, libvirt-0.9.4-23.el6.x86_6
  • Related Middleware / Application: VMware ESX Server 3.5.0
