Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO) is losing all configuration data when deployed as Templates in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

Solution Verified - Updated -

  • When installing the RH SSO image in OCP using Templates, it is not possible to configure persistent volumes to preserve RH SSO configuration.

  • We are experiencing RH SSO configurations getting deleted every time our OCP cluster gets restarted.

  • Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO)
    • 7.X (Templates)
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
    • 3.11
    • 4.X
