Issue
- NFS mount requests to an AIX NFS server fails with
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting server:/path/to/export
- AIX NFS server replies to NFSv3 mount requests with a status of 0xFFFFFFFF
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 NFS client
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 NFS client
- AIX NFS server
- NFSv3 (NFSv4 may give an I/O error when mounting)
