Issue

  • Space utilization of /var/cache/fscache file does not decrease with the existing limits in the /etc/cachefilesd.conf
  • Due to this space utilization of /var or / (If /var is not a separate filesystem) increases.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

  • fscache directory on / or /var filesystem
