Error on login console tty1 "-bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): inappropriate ioctl for device.
Issue

Getting following error message on the login console tty1.
-bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): Inappropriate ioctl for device -bash: no job control in this shell -
Users are not able to login through tty1 but they are able to login through tty[2-8].
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.1 (Santiago)
