Satellite 5 repodata generation tasks never run
Issue
- clients not able to see updates
- "Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository" error on client after cleaning old repodata
- channel repodata never get regenerated
- error message like the following in
/var/log/rhn/rhn_taskomatic_daemon.log:
INFO com.redhat.rhn.taskomatic.task.repomd.RepositoryWriter - Starting updateinfo generation for 'rhel-x86_64-server-5"
INFO com.redhat.rhn.taskomatic.task.repomd.RepositoryWriter - Checksum Type Value for generate updateinfo sha1
ERROR com.redhat.rhn.taskomatic.task.ChannelRepodata - com.redhat.rhn.taskomatic.task.repomd.RepomdRuntimeException:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /var/cache/rhn/repodata/rhel-x86_64-server-5/updateinfo.xml.gz.new (No such file or directory)
