Issue

  • curl returns Error 56 and SSL read: errno -12205 when using FTPS
  • When using curl to transfer files with SSL, curl returns error 56 with no directory listings but any file transfers appear to complete successfully.
$ curl --cert /home/username/ssl_keys/cert.crt:'password' \
       --key /home/username/ssl_keys/cert.key \
       --user username":"password -k -P "10.0.0.1" \
       --ftp-ssl-reqd  -l ftp://ftps.example.com/
curl: (56) bind(port=0) failed: Cannot assign requested address

Environment
