Issue

  • JBoss Operations Network (JON) behind reverse proxy
  • Receiving 404 errors when attempting to access JON user-interface (UI) through a reverse proxy
  • Unable to access JON UI when it is located behind a reverse proxy

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON)
    • 3.1.x
    • 3.2.x
  • Client web browser accessing JON UI via a Reverse Proxy
    • Apache mod_proxy acting as a Reverse Proxy between client and JON UI
  • Apache virtual host mod_proxy configuration using:
   ProxyPass /coregui http://local-jon-server:7080/coregui
   ProxyPassReverse /coregui http://local-jon-server:7080/coregui
