automount: lookup_read_map: lookup(ldap): Unable to download entire LDAP map

Issue

  • After upgrading from autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.143.el5_5.6.x86_64 to autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.156.el5.x86_64, and now we are seeing errors in the logs:

    Sep 12 13:03:19 xxxxxxxxxxx automount[4171]: lookup_read_map: lookup(ldap): Unable to download entire LDAP map for: /xxxx
Sep 12 13:03:19 xxxxxxxxxxx automount[4171]: lookup_read_map: lookup(ldap): Unable to download entire LDAP map for: /xxx

  • Everything still seems to be working fine, but except for these error messages in logs.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
  • autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.156.el5.x86_64
