CUPS printing null print jobs in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6

Issue

• CUPS is accepting the zero size file for printing.
• We have been noticing many print jobs in queue with the file size of 0 that is cuasing the print queue to back up.
• We are currently seeing one of our printers getting allot of print jobs with a size of 0. If we look at the logging from cups we see the message: "Returning IPP client-error-not-authorized for Create-Job".
