NetwokManager doesn't update "/etc/resolv.conf"

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When modifying the DNS configuration via NetworkManager, the new DNS configuration is not applied in /etc/resolv.conf

  • When I try to modify the DNS configuration in NetworkManager, the following line appears on the logs:

    Jan  1 12:00:01 hostname NetworkManager[1234]: <info>  [1627325968.2326] dns-mgr[0x55f5cf734220]: init: dns=default,systemd-resolved rc-manager=immutable
