Agent not registering properly with JON server when running SSL

Issue

  • Agent is not registering properly with JBoss ON server;
  • When trying to register JBoss ON Agent with the JBoss ON server, the following exception is thrown:

    ... ERROR [RHQ Server Polling Thread] (enterprise.communications.command.client.JBossRemotingRemoteCommunicator)- {JBossRemotingRemoteCommunicator.init-callback-failed}The initialize callback has failed. It will be tried again. Cause: org.jboss.remoting.CannotConnectException:Can not get connection to server. Problem establishing socket connection for InvokerLocator [sslsocket://myServer:7443/] -> java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException:null -> javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found -> sun.security.validator.ValidatorException:No trusted certificate found. Cause: org.jboss.remoting.CannotConnectException: Can not get connection to server. Problem establishing socket connection for InvokerLocator [sslsocket://myServer:7443/]
