Why does a VNC session not show GNOME Desktop Environment?

Issue

  • After the installation of a TigerVNC Server on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux, starting a new VNC session from a client, only a browser windows and a welcome page are shown.
  • Once the browser window is closed, no Desktop Environment is loaded and it is not possible to perform any action.
  • VNC viewer not able to display GNOME desktop after configuration.

  • TigerVNC Server
