Wrong Openshift node IP as kubelet setting VIP attached to a node as node IP

Issue

  • Couple of cluster operators start failing as OpenShift node IP gets changed.
  • VIP attached to a node being set as OpenShift node IP.
  • Kubelet process running on node with blank --node-ip & --address flag.
