How to activate iSCSI LUN volume group which doesn't have any file system on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4?

Issue

RHEL 4 machine has an iSCSI LUN and Informix DB is using raw devices on VolGroup02. When the system reboots VolGroup02 is not activating so the Informix DB can not find it's logical volumes. LUN device doesn't have any file system. So, there is no fstab entry for it.
