I need to setup a virtual terminal to emulate sco-ansi (SCOANSI)

Issue

I have an application that needs to run in a SCOANSI compatible terminal
I used to modify /etc/termcap to run SCOANSI in the past on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (RHEL)
Now on RHEL 6 there is no /etc/termcap file
When I run a script I receive:

'scoansi': unknown terminal type.
tput: unknown terminal "scoansi"
