apache resource in RHEL 6 cluster service does not operate correctly with IPv6

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • apache.sh out of resource-agents creates a broken httpd.conf for Service Groups with a ipv6 addresses.
  • According to the apache documentation [1] for the Listen statement, IPv6 addresses must be surrounded in square brackets. My apache cluster resource does not use brackets:
    Listen 2620:52:0:c03f::10:80

This prevents apache from starting up correctly via a cluster service.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with the High Availability Add On
  • resource-agents prior to release 3.9.2-12.el6
