Issue

  • Log file set through SecAuditLog directive consumes hundreds of MB in a short period of time.
  • Log file contains:
    • binary data
    • error Request Containing Content, but Missing Content-Type header
    • error Execution error - PCRE limits exceeded (-8): (null)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8
  • Httpd 2.4
  • mod_security
  • SecAuditLog set to regular file
  • Seafile/8.0.1 (Linux)
