Issue

  • Mounting an NFS share with NFSv3 is successful.

    # mount -t nfs3 nfs-server1:/share /mnt/path
    
  • Trying the same mount with NFSv4.1 hungs.

    # mount -t nfs4 nfs-server1:/share /mnt/path -vvv
    mount.nfs4: timeout set for Mon May 10 09:07:21 2021
    mount.nfs4: trying text-based options vers=4.2,addr=172.16.31.60,clientaddr=172.16.31.61'
    mount.nfs4: mount(2): Protocol not supported
