Rules are not fired as expected when date object comparison is involved in LHS of business rules

After our upgrade from BRMS 6.4 to Process Automation Manager(PAM) 7.9, we are noticing an issue where comparison between two
java.time.LocalDateobjects is not giving correct result in LHS of rules. For examplewhen HomeLoan(soldDate not in (null, '') && convertToLocalDate(soldDate) <= java.time.LocalDate.now())
