Issue

  • After upgrading from samba-3.0.33 to samba3x-3.5.4, NT usrmgr.exe enumerates only 1024 users and groups and not all the users and groups
  • samba is configured as PDC with LDAP backend and net rpc info shows only 1024 users  and groups.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
  • samba3x-3.5.4-0.70.el5_6.1.x86_64
  • samba configured as PDC with LDAP backend
