Issue

Many times a BRMS or BPM Suite application crashes the JVM with the message below after building a kbase:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space

We have noticed that the caching of rules for the first time does take a lot of memory but then it never runs out of memory. It is only when we update the rules.
When the application downloads a set of new rules in JBoss BRMS, what is happening to the permanent generation space ?
