Can nscd remember that a DNS server has failed and avoid querying it in RHEL?
Issue
- We had recently an issue with a DNS server failure caused a large outage, we are looking at ways to protect against this and develop some standards
- If we introduce
nscddoes it have a concept of detecting a failed server and not using it for some time?
