Password Sync from Microsoft Active Directory to RHDS using password sync fails with error: invalid password syntax
Issue
- When syncing passwords from Microsoft Active Directory to RHDS using password sync , the following error is thrown:
[12/May/2011:12:35:10 -0400] conn=89446 op=3 MOD cn="uid=tuser1,ou=User Accounts,dc=example,dc=com", invalid password syntax
Environment
- Red Hat Directory Server 8.2
- redhat-ds-8.2.0-2.el5dsrv.x86_64
- redhat-ds-base-8.2.2-1.el5dsrv.x86_64
