open-vm-tools shows VMDK mapping unavailable every 30 seconds
Issue
- After updating
open-vm-tools, the following message repeated in/var/log/vmare-vmsvc-root.logevery 30 seconds:
[ warning] [guestinfo] GuestInfoGetDiskDevice: Missing disk device name; VMDK mapping unavailable for "<mountpoint>", fsName: "<device>"
