Corosync logged an error stating that a file already exists in a Pacemaker cluster

Issue

  • I found the following corosync messages in /var/log/messages. What do they mean? (Note that 13750 may be any number representing a valid PID.)
corosync[13750]: [error] couldn t open file /dev/shm/qb-corosync-13750-blackbox-header: File exists (17)
corosync[13750]: [error] couldn t open file /dev/shm/qb-corosync-13750-blackbox-data: File exists (17)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (with the High Availability Add-on)
  • libqb-1.0.1-9.el7 or later
