[RHEL5.2] How to fix SegFault error while converting images with ImageMagick ?

While trying to convert an image file, ImageMagick shows a SegFault error, as in the example bellow:
# convert 1.svg 2.png Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2
- ImageMagick-6.2.8.0-4.el5_1.1
- kernel-2.6.18-92.1.6.el5
