"yum list all" finishes with "Error: Cannot communicate to RHN" while communicating to Satellite through Satellite Proxy

Issue

While running "yum list all" on client machine following output is presented:

# yum list all
Error: Cannot communicate to RHN

The /var/log/up2date contains following errors:

up2date logging into up2date server
up2date A socket error occurred: timed out, attempt #1
up2date A socket error occurred: timed out, attempt #2
up2date A socket error occurred: timed out, attempt #3
up2date A socket error occurred: timed out, attempt #4
up2date A socket error occurred: timed out, attempt #5
