Issue

  • Why does the JBoss LdapExtLoginModule fail to read SRV DNS records as the standard Java LDAP libraries do?
  • Our LDAP server is registered with the _ldap._tcp.my-domain.com SRV DNS record.  I have set the LDAP URL as follows:  ldap:///dc=my-domain,dc=com.  My LDAP login-module is failing though.
  • This should work as the standard Java LDAP utilities will read SRV DNS records.
