JBoss cannot restart when 'jnp_service.url' file is locked by Explorer

Issue

We had trouble restarting jboss server on several occasions.
This was due to jnp_service.url file having been locked by Explorer.  Removing the locks allowed us to start the server again.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.0.0
