In RHEL, "lpstat -p<printername>" prints the message "Unable to start filter cupsomatic"
Issue

Running "
lpstat -p printername
" results in the message "Unable to start filter cupsomatic
".[root@localhost ~]# lpstat -p <printername> printer <printername> is idle. enabled since Sat 02 Nov 2013 11:00:04 AM EDT Unable to start filter "cupsomatic" - No such file or directory.

Printers won't print and we see errors like the following in the CUPS
error_log
:E [09/Dec/2019:15:56:36 -0800] PSHP1: File "/usr/lib/cups/filter/cupsomatic" not available

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, 6, 7, 8
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.3.7, 1.4.2, 1.6.3
