lvmetad does not play nice with PowerPath

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

When enabling lvmetad with EMC PowerPath, any of the normal lvm commands complain about missing UUIDs. This does not happen when regular mode LVM is used.

"No device found for PV 3DVMjG-ZJui-2yYT-OJTy-801g-JX6X-Bsmaev."

Devices are missing because of this but really aren't when caching mode isn't used.

Salient lines from /etc/lvm/lvm.conf:

use_lvmetad = 1
filter = [ "a|/dev/sda[0-9].*|", "a|/dev/emcpower.*|", "r|.*|" ]

Those are the only lines we change from the package defaults.
