Getting "Page Not Found" error when logging out of EAP Admin Console over https - Red Hat Customer Portal

Issue

After setting up Admin Console restricted to HTTPS-only (secure-port="9443"), when I logout of the console it redirects to an http connection over the same port which gives me a Page Not Found error.\
logout of EAP http management interface gives a "The connection was reset" error after redirecting from https to http
