Remote hosts unable to reach keepalived VIP after VMWARE snapshot
Issue
- Some applications reported "no route to host" errors when connecting to the cluster. This happened for a 25 minute period and was straight after a VM snapshot was deleted.
- The keepalived routers were running in an Openshift POD to provide high availability to the cluster.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- keepalived
- WMWARE
- Can occur with or without Openshift.
