No more than 255 fields can be added to "Declared Fact Type" in JBoss BRMS. How to fix it?
Issue
No more than 255 fields can be added to a fact type by creating it declaratively in JBoss BRMS 5.2 and 5.3.x. There is a need to create declared fact types with more than 255 fields.
In the GUI, by clicking Validate after adding enough fields to a declared fact type to exceed a total of about 255, a popup is gotten:
400 Sorry, a technical error occurred. Please contact a system administrator.
In the console stack trace the following error is seen:
java.lang.ClassFormatError: Too many arguments in method signature
How to fix it?
