Error messages which tell that "ifdown failed"s are reported when a guest OS is started/stopped

Issue

  • Following error messages are reported to /var/log/messages when a guest  OS is started/stopped:

     Mar  8 14:36:18 rx200s6-1 lldpad[1537]: evb_ifdown:port vnet0 remove failed
 Mar  8 14:36:18 rx200s6-1 lldpad[1537]: vdp_ifdown:vnet0 vdp data remove failed

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Service Pack 1 and 2

  • kernel-2.6.32-118.el6.x86_64

  • Version: libvirt-client-0.8.7-7.el6.x86_64
