503s observed during load test in OpenShift Service Mesh
Issue
- During a load / performance test transactions fail with
response_code=0withresponse_flags "DC"in the istio-proxy logs. - The issue is that the connections are getting dropped by downstream(client).
- The issue occasionally occurs on SSL termination and may be accompanied by multiple HTTP status 503 errors.
