Performance degradation after the system firmware upgrade on HP ProLiant DL580 G7 (and possibly other) servers
Issue
- Dropped packets on HP DL580 G7 servers
- Poor network performance on HP DL580 G7 servers
- Slow performance after upgrade on HP DL580 G7 servers
- We have difference in I/O Performance on the two servers with the same LUN assigned
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- HP ProLiant DL580 G7 07/01/2013 (2013.07.01) System ROM (BIOS) Firmware Revision 1.61
