JAAS security with Jetty can not work

Issue

Using JAAS with jetty per Securing the Camel Jetty Component to setup a web service that uses Basic HTTP authentication. Implemented using the instructions above, but get the following error.

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.karaf.jaas.modules.RolePrincipal not found from
 bundle [camelJettyTest]
