Why paused virtual machines didn't live migrated to any other host in a cluster?

Issue

  • Due to some issue in between storage and hyperviosr, all virtual machines which were running on hypervisor moved into Paused state.
  • All virtual machines were marked as Highly Available.
  • Why paused virtual machines didn't live migrated to any other host in a cluster?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization(RHEV) 3.x
