AMQ .net core clients and amqp failover

Issue

  • we have .net core clients running on RHEL7 containers, connected to AMQ7 using openwire.
  • We are encouraged (in a older support case) to migrate to AMQP protocol.

  • We see that AMQ .NET Clients 2.4 based on AMQP.Net Lite library does not support any failover (as openwire does), which makes it impossible to deliver an HA AMQ7 solution to our clients without extra coding from theirs side.

  • Do you have any plans to support failover in AMQP ?

  • Can this be achieved using an external loadbalaner like F5?
